Assembling an interactive narrative documentary about the intersections of historical layers and narratives with current initiatives to create an ecological and cooperativist commons.
The trails of this folio-in-progress map the southern crisis 'peripheries' of Europe along Beograd from Serbia across Italy to Spain – ... and will conclude in Calafou.

Calafou

is where stories about the past industrial and semifeudal system related to the colonies mix with the present dream to develop a space of commons production based on cooperativism and ecological awareness. Technologies and the efficient re-use of natural materials, energies as well as industrial 'trash' are foregrounded. likewise this final part will thematize the phenomenon of renewed migration from urban to rural area during the current crisis and in the wake of the 15m movement. These processes of new social tectonics are read against the old narratives and social layers of the Civil War experience, when Calafou in times-gone-by was an industrial centre.
